Overview
Assist with upgrades to Loon Mountain; maintain trails and New Hampshire’s most powerful snowmaking system. Work with a team of driven individuals all focused on learning, growing and improving Loon across all three peaks. As a Trail and Project Technician, you must be safety conscious, enjoy the outdoors, and want to learn and work as a team. As a customer focused organization, a crucial part of each employee’s job is to get and keep guests.
Responsibilities
Work closely with and assist other departments such as Bike Construction, Bike Patrol, Lift Operations, etc.
Operate chain saw and brush saw.
Install pipe, and assist with maintaining and upgrades to the snowmaking system.
Run various heavy equipment.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on equipment.
Document and report mechanical/safety issues, complete maintenance logs and checklists.
Perform light maintenance or repairs on equipment.
Work safely in close proximity to heavy equipment, high voltage, and high water pressures.
Perform other duties as assigned when needed.
Drive side by sides, trucks, and ATVs as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
No previous experience or training required.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively within a professional manner.
Basic math skills are required.
Ability to solve practical problems and apply a common sense of understanding.
Valid Drivers' License. Resort Certification on related equipment will be completed on site.
